Services & Meetings

Sunday Services take place at 10:30am. This service is on Sunday, 12 August 2018.

The Sunday Service:

This week Christian Scientists are studying the subject of ’Spirit’ ready for Sunday's service when it will be read as the sermon. The key text, or ‘Golden Text’, is from The Holy Bible, English Standard Version: “The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” (Job 33)

Three of the citations from the Bible and Christian Science textbook convey the overall message of this inspiring lesson sermon: “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.” (Psalm 139).” “Spirit is the life, substance, and continuity of all things.” (p124). “Spirit is not separate from God. Spirit is God.” (p192)

Do join us either in the church or online through the Zoom system at 10.30.
