This week

Sunday Services take place at 10:30am, at our Church Building. This service is on Sunday, 25 October 2020.

Wednesday Testimony Meeting:

Every week we hold a meeting, currently online only, at 8pm which begins with a selection of citations from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science, on a topic chosen by the First Reader. The second part of the meeting is open to Christian Scientists to share accounts of healings of every sort, which have resulted from their study and practice of this science. A couple of verses from Psalm 75 describe the fundamental purpose of these meetings: "All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;"

The Sunday Service - online only for the time being:

The subject of this week's Lesson-Sermon is, ''Probation After Death.'

Two citations give a flavour of what this lesson is about. From the Bible: '.... we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever. (Micah 4). And from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, (266) 'Man is deathless, spiritual. He is above sin or frailty. He does not cross the barriers of time into the vast forever of Life, but coexists with God and the universe.'

The lesson explains how this can be understood and demonstrated.

You are very welcome to join us online on Sunday morning at 10.30 when the whole lesson will be read as the sermon. A recording of the service will be available on our website until Wednesday evening.
