The Wednesday testimony meetings provide valuable opportunities for Christian Scientists to share, and express gratitude for healings they have experienced as a result of studying Christian Science. They are also valuable opportunities for all of us to hear of these encouraging experiences. Do join us either in the church or online through the Zoom system, and do consider sharing your experiences.
The Sunday Service:
This week Christian Scientists are studying the subject of ’Life’. The key text, or the ‘Golden Text’, is from the New King James Version of the Bible and perfectly sums up the subject. “….choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days;”
And the first citation from the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy: “The understanding that Life is God, Spirit, lengthens our days by strengthening our trust in the deathless reality of Life, its almightiness and immortality.”
