Wednesday's readings

The online edition of the Christian Science Monitor on Monday reported a surge in applications for political training programmes in the USA, many from “young progressive women”, a group who have not previously been inclined to get involved. The article lists the issues which are driving them as including reproductive rights, climate change, immigration policy and educational funding.

While getting involved in politics at local and national level is admirable, the readings at this week’s testimony meeting will explore a spiritual approach to perceived threats to our progress.
