REGENERATION
Spirit touches whom it will,
As the wind blows where it pleases.
So man, he must be born again
As Nicodemus learned from Christ Jesus.
‘You will not re-enter in thy mother’s womb,
And marvel not I said that ye must be born again.’
To enter heaven, man must be born
Of water and the Holy Spirit.
The wind is felt but never seen,
So spirit unseen moves through every nation.
With living waters, cleansing will begin
The baptism of the Holy Spirit.
The waters of repentance, they will cleanse,
‘Til purity replaces sin once rife.
The waters of repentance morph into
Regenerating, healing waters of Life.
When Jesus visited the well,
He told the woman all that she had done.
He said to ask, ask for living waters,
That cleanse and purify and heal us.
