Service & Sunday School 10.30

Sunday Services take place at 10:30am. This service is on Sunday, 11 December 2016.

Our service is conducted by two Readers elected from the local church membership. The first Reader chooses appropriate hymns and a short passage from the Bible. The congregation join in Silent prayer and the Lord's Prayer, the version from Matthew in the King James Version. A spiritual interpretation, by Mary Baker Eddy, is read after each line. A solo follows and then The Readers read the Lesson Sermon from our Pastor - The Bible and Science & Health with key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy

These sermons are prepared in advance by The Mother Church and are studied in the previous week.  There are 26 Lesson Sermon subjects, of which some cover theological issues.

This week's (Dec 5-11) Lesson Sermon subject is God the Preserver of Man

"The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.

The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms:"
